Chilling in the City

Washington Dc has many things working well for it from the metro, to the food, the sites and the weather. The average temp. for February was around 45 degrees. Loved it! I have been keeping busy with work and all, but time to time, I manage to find some time to go and just see the city- in a non-touristy way of course :)
A couple of weeks back my friends and i decided to catch a Washington Wizards vs. Bulls game
We were able to get super cheap tickets and who doesn't love the Chicago Bulls? Even President Obama loves him, he went to the game the night before we did.
Do you see this Block. Wow

Here I am with part of the gang-Ben,Sam, and Eric
Jake came up to visit me about 2 weeks ago and here are some great pictures from me showing him around the city. These pictures were all taken from The Old Post Office Building, which is one of the tallest buildings in the city, a historical monument and gives one of the best views of the city :)
 The Capital
 The Washington Monument
 Just a fantastic pretty view
 The Lincoln Monument
The Washington Memorial
Jake and I went and visited Arlington National Cemetery, It's a very moving place. It shows a great amount of respect towards those soldiers who bravely fought for the US
The View from Arlington House- where former Confederate General Robert E. Lee lived

The amount of graves is just astonishing

The changing of the guards at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Jake and I also took the time to hit up the DC Zoo. I love animals.
My reason for wanting to go to the zoo, they have pandas :)
 I love flamingos :)
This photo below is from the WWII memorial
I'm just doing South Dakota's job, by holding up North Dakota. :)

Thanks for the support, prayers and love. God Bless
